In September we have been pushing out inspiration galleries for five whole years. That’s kinda crazy, and it all started in a small blog section on my personal portfolio site. Never did I expect that it would grow to what it have become today. Since the beginning I’ve noticed that our graphic design posts have been getting a bit more traffic than the other categories(except for the quotes posts, which have received several million impressions from StumpleUpon). What’s special with these galleries is just that they contain a nice mixture of quality design work from several fields within the creative industry. From cool logos and branding designs to stunning posters and business cards. So without further ado… here’s a spankin’ new gallery with great design work from all corners of the world. I hope you like it and that it inspires you in some way.

Today motion graphics has become an omnipresent player in this age of technology. Its presence is anywhere there is a screen and has become an essential and powerful way to communicate and create visual experiences for everyone. Motion design mixes animation, 3d, cgi, stop motion, illustration, images, typography, cinematography, sound design etc. to form and convey unique stories and messages.

Every Wednesday we strive to share and promote new creative pieces that we think might inspire you – or simply just entertain you.

Up for some nicely designed user interfaces? Maybe you’re in need of some inspiration for an upcoming app design? In these posts we present great UI designs that we’ve recently come across. From nice app and web designs to cool buttons and interface animations.

But there’s even more cool animated UI gif’s that we weren’t able to add to this post due to their massive file size. If you’re interested in checking those out you’ll find them, along with more cool interface designs, on our popular GUI board on Pinterest.

Creating a memorable logo may well be one of the most challenging tasks a designer can face. The success of an organization or brand can hinge on the effectiveness of a logo. So much information can be contained within those few shapes and lines. Here we present logos from designers who were able to rise to the challenge and produce exemplary work.

Showreels is a great way to present your work and it’s a science in itself to create a really great one.
This special feature is a selection of some of the best showreels I have seen out there the past few months. These examples are a mix of talented indivudial artists and studio reels. Wether it is how they are composed, the atmosphere, originality, or the work itself presented in the showreel – these reels got a little extra X.

So grab a big mug of coffee, sit back, and enjoy!

“Mondays aren’t so bad, it’s your job that sucks.” I don’t who said it, but I love that quote. Another reason to like Mondays are of course it’s the day when we release a new inspiration gallery with 25 new typographic designs!

As many of you probably have heard we’re working on a new version of the site. This update will be a bit larger than the previous ones and we’re putting a lot of time and effort into making as good as possible. This site wouldn’t be anything if it wasn’t for all of you guys, so we’re very interested in hearing your thoughts about the site. What’s good? What can be improved? If you have a couple of minutes to spare we would really appreciate your input by answering a couple of quick questions in a survey that we recently set up.
Click here to take the survey!

It is often said that 3 in 4 consumer buying decisions are made at the point of purchase. That is why it is crucial for product packaging to have maximum shelf presence. Great packaging should capture the shopper’s attention and give them enough information to close the sale. An effective package design should also build brand awareness and customer satisfaction in the purchase decision they make. In this packaging gallery, we present the latest of our findings from the wonderful world of packaging design.
